Buford Coe, a World War II veteran, founded The Overhead Door Company of Beaumont™ in the 1940s, therefore establishing the family owned and operated business that now includes six locations across Texas and southwest Louisiana. Though the types of products and services offered by The Overhead Door Company™ have expanded and changed over the years, the values of hard work, dedication, and customer service established by Buford Coe and his wife Rose continue in the second and third generations of his family that operate the business today.
Our company has been a pioneer in the garage door and garage door opener industry since 1921, and has grown to include more than 450 independent distributors nationwide.
